This is a three bedroomed house in a
village that has a few English people
already living there.I bought the place
for my daughter who is no longer able to
live in Bulgaria as she was offered a
fantastic job as an area manager for a
national merchandising company. The house
has been 80% renovated but lacks
carpets/laminate flooring. There aren`t
any kitchen units, but has been wired and
plumbed so the kitchen wouldn`t be a
problem to finish and would take probably
a day for two men. Labor is very cheap
here and you can employ people for as
little as £20 per day. There are two `wet
rooms` with sanitation provided by way of
a septic tank outside. Most houses
advertised for sale in Bulgaria say that
there is a toilet, but never provide
photos as the toilet is generally a three
foot by three foot `building` down the
garden with a hole in the floor!
Conveyancing in Bulgaria is done through a
Notary Public and costs 300 leva which is
about £120.00 and takes less than a week
for the deeds to be transferred. Anybody
seriously interested can stay at my house
in the next village called Skalitsa as I
have a luxury caravan next to the house. I
can also collect you from the airport as
long as you pay for the fuel. I have just
paid the annual community tax for this
house and it was just under £10.00 for the
